Move a section

Moving a section changes the order of a page. You move a section one step at a time with its arrow buttons. You cannot drag a section.

  1. Open the page in the builder.
  2. Point to the section you want to move. A small bar appears at its top right, with the section’s name and its buttons.
  3. Click ↑ (Move up) to move it above the section before it. Click ↓ (Move down) to move it below the section after it.
  4. Click again to keep moving it. The section flashes where it lands.

The builder saves the new order. It is on your live site after you publish. See Publish your site.

To take back a move, click Undo in the top bar. See Undo a change.

The section buttons always show at the top right of each section. Tap ↑ or ↓. Undo is under Tools in the top bar.

  • “Already at the top of this area.” or “Already at the bottom of this area.”: The section cannot go further that way. Your menu at the top and the footer at the bottom stay where they are.
  • “Your site is being published. Wait for it to finish before changing anything.”: Wait a minute, then try again.
  • You want to move a section to another page: That is not possible. Add the same section on the other page, then delete this one. See Hide or delete a section.
