Delete an event category

Delete a category when your church no longer uses it.

Who can do this: Your role needs Edit access to Calendar.

1. On a computer, click Calendar in the menu. On a phone, tap More, then Calendar.
2. Click Create New Event in the top right. On a phone it is a plus icon.
3. Click Event Category:.
4. Next to the category, click the trash icon.
5. In the Delete Event Category window, click Yes, delete.

You see Category Deleted!

Caution

You cannot undo this. To keep the category, click Cancel.

Birthdays and Anniversaries are built in. They are not in this list, and you cannot delete them.
