Connect Stripe for online giving

Do this to receive online donations. Online donations go to your church’s Stripe account.

Who can do this: You need Edit access to Customization. Online Giving must be turned on for your church. If you do not see Stripe Connection, it is not turned on.

1. In your browser, log in to your church’s Stripe account.
2. On a computer, click Settings in the menu, then Customization. On a phone, tap More, then Settings, then Customization.
3. Click Stripe Connection. On a phone, choose it in the list at the top of the screen.
4. Click Connect Stripe.
5. Do the steps on the Stripe page.

Stripe sends you back to Stripe Connection. A message says Stripe account connected successfully! The section now says that your church’s Stripe account is connected.

Choose the days members can give

1. In Customization, click Online Giving Settings.
2. Turn Online Giving Available All Week on or off.
3. Click Save Changes.

You see Settings updated! When the switch is on, members can give on all days. When the switch is off, members can give only on Sundays.

Use a different Stripe account

1. In Customization, click Stripe Connection.
2. Click Disconnect Stripe Account.
3. In the message that opens, click OK.
4. Connect the new account with the steps above.

Caution

While no Stripe account is connected, your church cannot receive online donations.

Good to know

• The Online Giving menu item shows only after a Stripe account is connected.

If it does not work

• “Stripe account connected! Please refresh the page to see the update.”: Reload the page.
• “Stripe account may be connected. Please refresh the page to verify.”: Reload the page. Then look at Stripe Connection again.
