Choose group leaders

Do this when you want to mark who leads a group. Leaders can always send messages to their group.

Who can do this: You need Edit access to Member Groups.

1. Open Member Groups. On a computer, click Church Membership in the menu, then Member Groups. On a phone, tap More, then Church Membership, then Member Groups.
2. On the right of the group’s row, click the pencil icon.
3. Find the member. Make sure the box next to their name is checked.
4. Click the star in the Leader column on their row. To remove the leader mark, click the star again.
5. Click Submit.

Good to know

• A group can have more than one leader.
• In the Selected Members box, a crown marks each leader. Leaders are at the top of the box.
• You can also choose leaders when you create a group.

If it does not work

• The star does nothing: Check the member’s box first. Only members of the group can be leaders.
