Download a file or folder
Do this when you want a copy of a file or a folder on your own device.
Who can do this: anyone who is logged in.
- Open Files. On a computer, click Files in the menu. On a phone, tap More, then Files.
- Find the file or the folder in the list.
- On the right of its row, click the download arrow. On a phone, if you can edit Files, tap the three dots on the row, then Download.
The file downloads to your device. A folder downloads as a zip file.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- You can also download a picture, video or audio file from its preview window. Click Download.
- In the phone app, folders do not download. You see Download the folder from a computer. Use a computer, or open the folder and download its files one at a time.
