Delete a group

Do this when your church no longer needs a group.

Who can do this: You need Edit access to Member Groups.

1. Open Member Groups. On a computer, click Church Membership in the menu, then Member Groups. On a phone, tap More, then Church Membership, then Member Groups.
2. On the right of the group’s row, click the trash icon.
3. In the Remove Member Group window, click Yes, delete.

The group is removed from the Member Groups list.

Caution

You cannot undo this. To keep the group and only change its members, see Change a group.
