Change your password

Changing your password sets a new one for your account while you are logged in.

Who can do this: Roles with Edit access to My Account.

1. On a computer, click My Account at the bottom of the menu. On a phone, tap More, then My Account.
2. Click the Login Details tab.
3. Click Password.
4. Type your password in Current Password.
5. Type the new password in New Password.
6. Type the new password again in Confirm new Password.
7. Click Update.
8. Follow the message that appears to confirm the change.

When the change is confirmed, you see “Login credentials successfully changed!” and you are logged out. Log in again with the new password.

The new password needs at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one special character.

If it does not work

• “Current password is incorrect.”: Type the password you log in with now.
• “Passwords do not match.”: Type the same new password in both boxes.
• “New password cannot be the same as the current password.”: Choose a different new password.
